24-Hour Blood Pressure Monitoring

A 24-hour blood pressure monitoring test allows for an accurate assessment of blood pressure during daily activities and while sleeping. It provides more reliable results than a single measurement taken in a doctor’s office and helps to reliably detect high blood pressure or evaluate the effectiveness of existing treatment.

For the test, you will wear a small monitoring device with a blood pressure cuff on your upper arm for 24 hours. The device automatically measures your blood pressure at regular intervals while you go about your normal daily routine. The results show how your blood pressure changes throughout the day and provide an important basis for further medical decisions.
