Lung Function Testing

A lung function test (spirometry) is used to assess how well your lungs are functioning and to measure your lung capacity and breathing rate. The test helps detect respiratory diseases at an early stage or monitor the progression of existing lung conditions.

The test is easy to perform and usually takes only a few minutes. You will breathe into a device according to the instructions, and it will record various respiratory parameters. The test is used, for example, in cases of breathing difficulties, a persistent cough, suspected asthma or COPD, and to monitor treatment progress. The results will then be discussed with you.

If you need a lung function test or have any questions about this test, please feel free to contact the office.
