Ear irrigation

An ear irrigation is performed when the ear is blocked by earwax (cerumen), causing symptoms such as a feeling of pressure, hearing loss, or ringing in the ears. The treatment is designed to gently clean the ear canal and relieve these symptoms.

Before treatment, the ear is examined to determine the cause of the symptoms. The ear is then flushed with water at body temperature under controlled conditions. In most cases, the cleaning quickly leads to an improvement in hearing and overall well-being.

If you suspect you have an earwax plug or would like to have your ears cleaned, please feel free to contact the office.
